Fear Allaah with the Blood of the Muslims

Explanation of the advice of Abil Waleed al Baaji رحمه الله to his sons (403H to 474H).
Abil Waleed Al Baaji said:
. وإياكما والعون على سفك دم بكلمة، أو المشاركة فيه بلفظة؛ فلا يزال الإنسان في فسحة من دينه ما لم يغمس يده أو لسانه في دم امرىء مسلم”
قال الله تعالى: ومن يقتل مؤمنا متعمدا فجزاؤه جهنم خالدا فيها وغضب الله عليه ولعنه وأعد له عذابا عظيما
The author – رحمه الله – says: “And beware of aiding the spilling of the Muslims’ blood by your speech or to participate in it verbally. The people will continue to have leeway in his religion until he dips his hand or his tongue in the blood of a Muslim person.”
Allaah – تعالى – says: “And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the Wrath and the Curse of Allah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him.” [An-Nisaa: 51]
Shaykh Saaleh as Suhaymee says:
Killing the one whom Allaah has prohibited his killing is from the biggest crimes. Allaah continuously mentions it along with Shirk (polytheism), Allaah -عز وجل- says:
قل تعالوا أتل ما حرم ربكم عليكم ألا تشركوا به شيئا وبالوالدين إحسانا ولا تقتلوا أولادكم من إملاق نحن نرزقكم وإياهم ولا تقربوا الفواحش ما ظهر منها وما بطن ولا تقتلوا النفس التي حرم الله إلا بالحق ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تعقلون
“Say (O Muhammad): “Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from: Join not anything in worship with Him; be good and dutiful to your parents; kill not your children because of poverty – We provide sustenance for you and for them; come not near to Al-Fawahish (shameful sins, illegal sexual intercourse, etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, and kill not anyone whom Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause (according to Islamic law). This He has commanded you that you may understand.” [Al An’aam: 151]
And Allaah – سبحانه وتعالى – says:
والذين لا يدعون مع الله إلها آخر ولا يقتلون النفس التي حرم الله إلا بالحق ولا يزنون ومن يفعل ذلك يلق أثاما – يضاعف له العذاب يوم القيامة ويخلد فيه مهانا
“And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace;” [Al Furqan: 68-69]
And Allaah -تعالى – says:
من أجل ذلك كتبنا على بني إسرائيل أنه من قتل نفسا بغير نفس أو فساد في الأرض فكأنما قتل الناس جميعا ومن أحياها فكأنما أحيا الناس جميعا ولقد جاءتهم رسلنا بالبينات ثم إن كثيرا منهم بعد ذلك في الأرض لمسرفون
“Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allah by committing the major sins) in the land!.” [Al-Maa’idah: 32]
Allaah -تعالى – says:
ولا تقتلوا أنفسكم
“And do not kill your selves” [An-Nisaa: 29]
The Messenger of Allaah -صلى الله عليه وسلم – said: “The blood of a Muslim is not permitted (to spill) except in one of three: a life for a life, a married person who commits adultery, and the one who abandons his religion” and in a narration “the one who forsakes his religion and splits from the Jama’ah (community of the Muslims).”
The Prophet -صلى الله عليه وسلم- said: “The destruction of this world, all of it, is more beloved to Allaah than to spill the blood of a Muslim.”
He informed (us) that the Ka’bah is great, yet the sanctity of the blood of a Muslim is even greater than the sanctity of the Ka’bah.
Allaah -تعالى – says:
ومن يقتل مؤمنا متعمدا فجزاؤه جهنم خالدا فيها وغضب الله عليه ولعنه وأعد له عذابا عظيما
“And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the Wrath and the Curse of Allah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him.” [An-Nisaa: 93]
Killing a person is from the greatest of crimes. The Prophet -صلى الله عليه وسلم – said: “Stay away from the seven deadly sins: associating partners with Allaah, to kill a person which Allaah has forbidden except for a just cause (in accordance to Islaamic law)” until the end of the seven deadly sins. (And this is) regardless if he killed himself, on the spot, or aided in (spilling) blood of a Muslim, by a word, or hitting, or pointing, or by any other shape or form; or a Fatwa (juristic ruling), such how some of them have issue rulings. Such as how they issue rulings, the scholars of misguidance, the scholars of the deviant, criminal, mischievous, satellite channels that speak about Allaah without any due right, those who have generalized their tongues in spilling the blood of Muslims with Fatwa (rulings), demonstrations, protests, and agitation. May Allaah give them what they deserve.
You have now heard some of the legislative evidences, and the author -رحمه الله- has warned from aiding the killing of a Muslim. ‘Umar said: “If the people of San’aa were to unite to aid him (in killing a Muslim), I would kill them all“, or as he -رضي الله عنه- said. Allaah knows best why San’aa was specified, perhaps if the man from from San’aa.
I say to my brothers:
You now hear from some of the leaders of the Jama’aat (groups), what is called “Jama’aat Islamiyyah” (Islamic groups). What has exposed them for their realities, and exposed their fangs, is that they are killing the Muslims in Syria with Bashar. They are sacrificing the Muslims, they are sacrificing the Muslim army in Syria… this group and that group… they are sacrificing the Muslims; so they have become helpers of Bashar Al Kalb (the dog) in killing the Muslims. Is this the Islaam that has come because of him? Is this the aid that they are claiming with this nomenclature? By Allaah, they are not aiding Islaam nor are they breaking the disbelievers, they have become a thorn and a dagger in the throats of who? In the throats of the Muslims. So we ask Allaah to seize them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what He Wills, and to protect the Muslims from their evil. This is because, according to me, they are more evil than the disbelievers. Why are they more evil than the disbelievers? I say more harmful than the disbelievers, why? Because they speak loudly with Islaam, and the disbelievers, then everyone knows that they are disbelievers. As for the Khawaarij (rebellious Muslims), that sacrifice the Muslims in the name of Islaam, they are as the Prophet -صلى الله عليه وسلم- said about them: “The most evil of the creation“, they are the most evil of the creation, even though the disbelievers (are included in the creation). “The dogs of the people of the fire“. The dogs of the fire. They sacrifice the Muslims in Syria aiding Bashar. What’s your opinion? They killed one of the officials of the Muslims, with the call that he is a disbeliever. They called him a disbeliever. Do you see how? They are continuously with the enemies of Allaah, from the time of ‘Ali — to our time today, and the Khawaarij are with the enemies of Allaah, regardless of whether they call themselves Al Nusra “helpers” or Al Khusra “losers”. We ask Allaah for protection and safety.
Be cautious of these ideologies! Your youth goes with them, they don’t know so-and-so, they go with them; and they don’t go and fight Bashar, they go and fight the Muslims. No. They go and fight the Muslims only, they sacrifice the Muslims over there. They’ve said to the Salafi Muslims there, once we terminate Bashar, we’ll turn on you. Then, where is the Islaam they brought to defend? It is just lying and playing games, and perhaps they are being used by Mossad or other than them. Yes. Particularly their leaders.
I say: I repeat that the protecting the sanctity of the blood of the Muslims is very very great. Be warned from the mischievous! The leader so-and-so and so-and-so, the leaders of the Jama’aat (groups). Two days ago, one of them said… and By Allaah I heard this with my own ears, I’m not reporting it from anyone… he said to the people that he’s playing around with; the people of Kinaanah (Egypt), we ask Allaah to change their situation. He said: You release so-and-so, and I will stop attacking you in that land, in Sinai. Ma Sha Allah, so you are the one that orders and prohibits! You order with killing who you want and cease from who you want O criminal! We ask Allaah for protection and safety.
Praise Allaah, and thank Him for your scholars and leaders! Praise Allaah that he protected you from these Jama’aat (groups). The groups and parties have not risen in a land, except that they have created destruction. I do not consider them Islaamic groups, I say that they are political groups that desire positions. They dance, sing, beat drums, and gather. Look at their gathering and performance in the public squares, like they’re animals that escaped the stables. I say this, I’m not shy of saying this, and I do not ask about anyone, because they are like sheep in religion, they bray like the donkeys and say this is the religion. ‘Uthmaan -رضي الله عنه- was killed and there were no protests from the Muslims. Is there greater than the killing of the Leader of the Muslims, Dhin Nurayn? The one whom the Prophet -صلى الله عليه وسلم- married his two daughters to. The Sahabah (companions) wandered the streets and demonstrated?? Or did they try to protect him with what they were able, and when they gathered upon them, he prevented them, him -رضي الله عنه-, look at the concern for the blood of the Muslims. He was not a leader that said “kill whoever you want so that we can return to the seat (of power).” “Fight whoever you want so that we can return to the seats (of power).” ‘Uthman took the promise of the Sahaabah for what? My brothers, stay with me! What did ‘Uthman say? And the enemies of the Sunnah were attacking him, what did he say to them? He prevented them so that they do not kill. “I insist that those who have allegiance on their necks” – meaning allegiance to who? To ‘Uthmaan. “I insist that those who have allegiance on their necks shut the doors (to prevent the attackers from entering).” Allaahu Akbar! Where is the intellects of the people of Kinanah on this speech? Excuse me because my heart burns for the lands of the Muslims where these crimes are committed in the name of the religion. Do you not want to do what Uthmaan did? The Rightly Guided Khaleefah was killed, they came and killed him, they encircled him, they entered his house.
[[Shaykh Saleh begins to cry]]
They entered his house, the pure house, and he prevented the Muslims saying I prevent you, whoever has allegiance on his neck, then close the door. And you O leaders of lies! You say fight until we return to these ranks. I ask Allaah for protection and safety. Sacrifice their people, so that we can return to (leadership) positions. This is what it is.
Spread this message to whoever you wish. Pay attention O brothers! The issue is very dangerous! By Allaah, the condition of the enemies of Islaam is clear. However, I what I fear for is these groups [that their intent] is hidden, that play with fire, and that sacrifice the Muslims to reach the leadership positions- and we seek refuge with Allaah. Be warned about this disgraceful path. This path is not from the Muslims, demonstrations, protests, marches, disabling the good interests, destroying the facilities, cutting the paths criminally- that no one does except the criminal, and that no one encourages except the criminal,and that no one calls to except the criminal, even if he calls himself a Shaykh, from the Shuyookh (plural of Shaykh). He is a Shaykh of misguidance.
So Fear Allaah -تعالى -. I ask you to spread this message to the far reaches of the lands of the Muslims, so that it is a lesson for them with regards to what is happening in some of the lands, and to stay in their homes whenever these tribulations occur. When these tribulations occur, it’s upon them to stay inside their homes and to Fear Allaah with regards to the blood of the Muslims. Fear Allaah with regards to the blood of the Muslims. Fear Allaah with regards to the blood of the Muslims. SubhanAllah! The blood! Ahmad bin Hanbal was tortured by Al Ma’moon, and he was beaten by Al Waathiq, and was tortured by Al Mu’tassim. Three khulafa (leaders) and they tortured, harmed, and beat him until he saw death- and when people came to him in order to rebel, he said “I seek refuge with Allaah! He is the leader of the Muslims (Ameer al Mu’mineen)!” It’s the blood.
The blood, the blood, the blood, the blood! Be warned from playing with fire! Be warned from playing with the blood! Stay inside your homes until the tribulations cease! O people of Egypt! Stay inside your homes until the tribulations cease! Fear Allaah -تعالى – and spread this advice to those who can hear it from the Muslims. I ask Allaah -تعالى – to preserve the blood of the Muslims. O Allaah protect the blood of the Muslims. O Allaah preserve the blood of the Muslims of Kinanah (Egypt), and in Syria, and in every place. O Allaah unite their speech upon the Truth, O Allaah aid your religion, your Book, and the Sunnah of your Prophet -صلى الله عليه وسلم- and the believing worshipers, and may the prayer the blessings of Allaah be upon your Prophet Muhammad.
