The Inconsistencies of the People of Innovations and Fitan

Shaykh Rabee’ bin Haadee al Madkhali said:

 

Yesterday, you heard the narrations regarding patience with the leaders. Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to receive them with respect and recognition, and to resort to them. However, these people are not pleased with resorting to these texts. They play with bleak interpretations and senseless speech. They have changed the religion of Allaah and replaced it. They are the worst in changing (the laws) than the leaders! They say: “The leaders change (the religion)!” You change the beliefs, fundamentals, and methodologies! By Allaah, their corruption is worse than the corruption of the rulers. The leaders do not say to you: “this is the religion of Allaah”. However, these people will say to you: “this is the religion of Allaah”! They have change the principles and methodology, they change more in the religion of Allaah than the change of the rulers. Then they say that the rulers change (the religion)?! You make your activities the acts of the rulers and you are the one who changes the religion of Allaah in order to oppose the ruler!? Or to attack the ones who hold fast to the methodology of the salaf (pious predecessors) and are not pleased with enforcing these changes in the religion of Allaah!?
