Description: 5 Lines per page | Wove paper in pale-buff color | Seljuk dynasty Qur’an manuscript (Persia) | Eastern Kufic (New ‘Abbassid Style, NSII – Déroche, 1992: 132-137; Gacek, 2012: 167) in black ink with red dots for vocalization. Other folios of the manuscript apparently have green diacritical marks and yellow Surah headings with yellow half-palmettes for verse endings.

From Juz 14, Surah al-Hijr verse 86 to 89,

Incipit: [..] الخلق العليم (86);
Explicit: وقل اني انا النذير المبين (89)

Provenance: This Folio came from a Seljuk Qur’an Manuscript of Juz 14 with a total of 79 Folios sold at a Christie’s Islamic Art and Manuscripts auction (Sale # 6814), Lot # 2 on October 14th, 2003 for $4,021.7.
