Provenance: This folio came from an Antiquarian Bookseller in Florida that sells individual or small groups of folios from larger collections. It’s possible that this manuscript is the from the same one sold at Christie’s Islamic Arts and Manuscripts sale (#6713, Lot # 13) on April 29, 2003 in London that sold for $3,954 with 433ff. I haven’t found the exact match since I don’t have more than a folio to research. There is a similar 19th century Qur’an manuscript from Africa in the Bodleian Library (ms.Arab.d.141)
