Description: 25 Lines/Page | European Laid paper with Watermarks: (1) The Foolscap watermark is prominent through most of the folios, the final folio has the clearest image of the Foolscap with the jester upside down. The Jester was introduced in the mid-15th century This design of the foolscap watermark was popularly used in the 17th and 18th centuries. (2) The second watermark appears on one folio and is difficult to identify. It appears to be either scales or pillars with numerous circular decorations at the bottom of the image |From Al Qiyaas until the end of the book;

Provenance: Private Collection from family of owner| There is a stamp on the last page: “Rushdi Muhammad, sworn expert recognized by the Kingdom.” The Kindom in this case is likely Morocco as this is the origin of the former owner. The remaining stamps are distorted and barely legible, however it appears that the sequence of numbers is the phone number of Rushdi Muhammad in Agadir: 97-62-83-028. The former owner of this manuscript is a real-estate inspection expert- and the stamp is an ownership stamp, not one indicating expertise in manuscripts or artifacts.
