Description: 10 Lines/Page | Early Arabic Paper | Black ink with Rubrication of vowel markings. Nuqat (dots) on letters are indicated with small strokes. New Abbasid Style (popularly known as Eastern Kufic or Persian Kufic) corresponding to NS.I in Deroche’s classification (1992, pg. 136). | The folio is damaged with tears and the margins have been cut by a former owner who decided to frame it for many years- the back of the folio is pasted on a frame paper, thereby rendering it irreparably damaged. |From Surah az-Zumar, verse 71 to half of 74:
Incipit: يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِنْكُمْ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِ رَبِّكُمْ وَيُنْذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا قَالُوا بَلَى وَلَكِنْ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَةُ الْعَذَابِ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
